Hop on a boat and float over the sedate lake as you sit with your fishing rod in hand. Take up the challenge and catch some large lake fish and show off to your friends. Travel to an beautiful island over the lake. Let your chef roast your catch for a delicious barbecued dinner on the island. Enjoy your meal as you watch the colorful tropical sunset over the water.

Experience:
You will start your tour at 2:30pm when you are picked up from your hotel in Colombo. Your chauffeur-guide will drive you to a lake jetty in the suburban countryside. There you will embark on a charming boat ride towards the center of the lake. There will be safety jackets fir you. Make sure to wear them.
At a calm location, known for being a fishing spot, your captain will anchor the boat and provide you with fishing equipment. If you are experienced at fishing, you can start right away. Else your captain will guide you on the basics of fishing, and help you get started.
You can listen to some soft music while fishing as the sun goes down. The lake has many types of fish, many of which are delicious for a meal. You can try your hand at catching a lot of fish for your barbecue.
At approximately 5:00 pm, your captain will start your boat again and direct the boat to a small pretty island in the middle of the lake. You will find a fire pit there, and your captain will build a fire and make a barbecue. Meanwhile you can relax on the island and go exploring if you wish.
Your meal will be roasted and ready in about half an hour. Dinner will be served by the lakeside, with an excellent view the sunset. You can dig into the aromatic and delicious barbecued fish. After your meal you will have some time to relax and take some photos.
At 6:30 pm you will be re-embarking onto your boat and sailing back to the mainland. There you will be met by your chauffeur, who will drive you back to your hotel, completing your tour.
